We are now a week removed from the Cross Border Challenge in Michigan City, Indiana, and boy did it not disappoint! The crowd was electric, the darts were absolute class and the environment was perfect. For DJD to be represented by 7 out of the 16 players was incredible, but of course also came with some DJD on DJD crime in the first couple rounds. Tough T16 defeats for Jules Van Dongen, Steve Warnock, Doug Boehm and Jason Brandon. in the Top 8, Danny Lauby and Jim Long played fantastic, but came up just short in there respective matches, and Stowe Buntz made the furthest run into the T4. Was a great showing by all of DJD and the level of darts was incredible, and has filled us with a ton of excitement for the start of the CDC season on May 17th!
Also we would like to congratulate Alex Spellman on not only his winning of the Cross Border Challenge, but also for hitting the first 9 darter in CDC history in front of a live crowd during night 1!
Next up is the Chairman of the Board competition in West Virginia, followed by the CDC Weekend 1!
